CTET 2024 Educational Qualification

Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary)

Down below is a table of the required educational qualifications for being a primary school teacher. You need to possess any one of the following.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

Educational qualifications for Elementary Teachers

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
