     No, you cannot apply for soldier post. Girls are eligible of joining through CDS and yes they get entry directly to officer rank and ofcourse you can pursue your graduation in any stream you want.

      You can apply through CDS, forms will be out somewhere in june or july, you can fill the form then and can give the examination.

      These are just rumours that girls don’t serve army. There is hardly any field left where girls are not contributing.
      So, if you want to join Indian Army then one way is apply for CDS examination, and the other way is through open bharti rally, which will be updated to you after an official announcement.
