Assam Rifles Eligibility Criteria GD /Clerk
Maximum Qualification: The candidates should have completed Matriculation (10th class) / Intermediate (10+2 Class) / Master’s Degree / Graduation Standard to apply for the posts.
Age Limit: The candidates age limit should be not less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on 01.01.2020. Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC candidates and 05 years for SC / ST candidates.
Application Fees: The candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- for General & OBC category candidates. The application fee paid by modes other than SBI challan (Power Jyoti Account No. 350159749555 at SBI, Laitkor Branch, Shillong, Code No. 13883). No Application fee for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates.
For Clerk
- 12th or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized board/university or equivalent
- Skill Test Norms on Computer: English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minutes on computer Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer (35 w.p.m in English and 30 word/minute in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each work on computer).
Mode of Selection: The candidates shortlisted on basis of their performance in Written Examination Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test (Skill Test) and Medical Examination Test.
