How to score good marks in exams

So let us understand the difference first.

Re-checking- Sometimes we call re-checking as verification of the answer sheets.
Suppose you were expecting 95 in some subject or you got just 59 marks. Then it might be possible that there is some sort of calculation mistake. Although these calculation mistake cases are very rare, but in this case we suggest you to go for re-evaluation of your answer sheet.
In this your marks will be counted from the very first page and very first answer, if there is any mistake done by the examiner while calculating your answers.

Now let’s talk about.

Re-evaluation- It is a different process. In this if you are thinking that your answers are checked wrongly, then go for re-checking. In this, a different teacher will check your answer sheet and from the very first answer, and will see if some answer is wrongly checked, that led to the decrease in your marks.

Once CBSE Board result is declared and you find it completely unsatisfactory, then you can follow these three steps suggested below for :

  • Apply for re-checking or verification of marks(i.e., totalling of your marks only), within a week after declaration of the result. If it proves to be unsatisfactory, go to step second else you can exit.
  • Second process comprises of applying for getting a photocopy of your answer sheet, apply for it within 21 days of the declaration of result. If again you find it unsatisfactory, then you may go for step third.
  • Step third is the re-evaluation of your marks. When you apply for re-evaluation, there is a condition for that. You can choose maximum of 10 questions that you are doubtful for getting more marks in those questions. If you want to go for re-evaluation, apply for it within 5 weeks of the declaration of result.

“Do not jump to any step directly. It is a step by step process. Follow all the rules and regulations of CBSE. Otherwise your query will not be taken into consideration for any further process.”
