BODMAS Questions for Class 5 With Answers and Trick : Mathematics is one such subject in which the participation of calculation is most important. And different types of formulas, rules, etc. are used to calculate. There are different branches of mathematics in which BODMAS Rule in Hindi is used to solve algebraic systems.
BODMAS Questions for Class 5 With Answers and Trick
BODMAS is actually guided by simplification. That is, BODMAS is used for simplification which includes brackets, order (of), division, multiplication, addition and subtraction. And this calculation is solved according to the rule or rules of BODMAS. Because, it helps in increasing accuracy and speed BODMAS Questions for Class 5.
Arithmetic expressions which involve many operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc. are not easy to solve as compared to operations involving two numbers. Therefore, their solution is determined using BODMAS. There are many stages in arithmetic in which different types of symbols BODMAS Questions for Class 5 are used in questions. Which are solved only and only by BODMAS.
What is BODMAS Rule? What is BODMAS Rule in Hindi
In general, BODMAS is an acronym for performing arithmetic operations that include brackets, order, division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction. That is, BODMAS provides rules to make mathematical operations simple and appropriate, through which solving questions becomes easy.
Mathematics experts also call it PEMDAS because it is a synonym of BODMAS. But it is completely different from BODMAS in the sense but exactly the same according to the usage and rule BODMAS Questions for Class 5.
It explains the sequence of operations to be performed while solving the BODMAS expression, which makes it easy to calculate. If an arithmetic expression contains parentheses such as ( ( , { }, [ ] ) then the parenthesis is solved first, followed by the operations of division BODMAS Questions for Class 5, multiplication, addition and subtraction.
How does the BODMAS Rule work?
BODMAS works on the following rule. So remember.
B = Bracket
= Line Bracket
( ) = Small Bracket or Circular Bracket
{ } = Braces Or Curly Bracket
[ ] = Large Bracket ( Square Bracket Or Brackets )
O = of ( Of ) or exponent ( Order )
= Square Root and Cube Root
( )2 and ( )³ square and cube
D = Division
M = Multiplication
A = Addition
S = Subtraction
Popular proverbs on the use of BODMAS
Do first (of), after (division) then (multiplication) then (addition) and subtraction, i.e.
first parenthesis
followed by “of” or “exponential”
Then “Division” means “Part”
After this “Multiplication” means multiplication
“Addition” means (addition) after multiplication
And after all “Subtract”
Example based on BODMAS Rule
Before solving the examples, it is necessary to pay attention to some points which help in the use of BODMAS Rule in Hindi.
The parentheses are sorted in this order, such as ( ), { }, [ ]. Removing parentheses means simplifying the expression inside the parentheses.
If a parenthesis is preceded by a number, the parenthesis is removed by multiplying the number available inside the parenthesis by that number.
BODMAS Questions – Important Questions to be asked
1. solve the equation (1/4 + 1/8) of 12
Solution: First, solve for the number with a fraction inside the ( ) bracket
= 1/4 + 1/8
= 3/8
Then, multiply 3/8 of 12 by
= 3/8 × 12
= 9/2
2: Simplify. – 18 + (14 – 3 × 4)
Solution : 18 + (14 – 3 × 4)
= 18 + (14 – 12)
= 18 + 2
= 20
Therefore, 18 + (14 – 3 × 4) = 20
3. Simplify the following : 1600 9{(14 − 4)+(20 − 8)}
Solution : 1600 9{(14 − 4)+(20 − 8)}
= 1600 9{10 + 12}
= 1600 9{21}
= 1609 189
= 8.5 (approx.)
4. Simplify the following : 1/4[{−4(5+3)}6]
Solution : 1/4 [{–4(8)}6]
= 1/4 [{–32}6]
= 1/4 [–32 × 6]
= 1/4 [–192]
= 1/4 × [–192]
= –48
5 : 3 [3 + 3 {42 – 2 (13 +3)}]
Find the value of the above equation.
Solution : We have been given
3[3 + 3{42 – 2(13 + 3)}]
By Bodmas rule,
First solve the numbers inside the bracket ( )
= 3 [3 + 3 {42 – 2 (16)}]
= 3 [3 + 3 {42 – 32}]
Now { } will subtract the number inside this bracket
= 3 [3 + 3 {10}]
= 3 [3 + 30]
Now [ ] will store the number inside this bracketE
= 3 [33]
Finally multiply both the numbers
= 99
So the final answer to this question will be 99.
6. Question: Find the value of the given equation.
6.5 – [3 + 0.4 of (4.1 – 1.6 x 2.01)]
Solution : We have been given
6.5 – [3 + 0.4 of (4.1 – 1.6 x 2.01)]
By Bodmas rule,
Let us first solve the numbers inside the bracket ( )
= 6.5 – [3 + 0.4 of (4.1 – 1.6 x 2.01)]
“Multiply this by 1.6 x 2.01”
= 6.5 – [3 + 0.4 of 0.884]
“Subtract 3.216 from 4.1”
Now [ ] will solve for the number inside this bracket
= 6.5 – [3 + 0.3536]
“Multiply 0.4 × 0.884”
= 6.5 – 3.3536
“Submit the number inside this [ ] ”
Finally subtract both the numbers
= 3.1464
Hence the final answer to this question will be 3.1464
7. 76×32÷8+10
Solution : According to BODMAS -:
= 76×4+10
= 304+10
= 314 Ans.
8. 25÷5×6+31-41
Solution : According to BODMAS -:
= 25÷5×6+31-41
= 5×6+31-41
= 30+31-41
= 61-41
= 20
9. 18-3+33of3÷99-1
Solution : According to BODMAS -:
= 18-3+33of3÷99-1
= 18-3+33×3÷99-1
= 18-3+99÷99-1
= 18-3+99÷99-1
= 18-3+1-1
= 18+1-3-1
= 19-4
= 15
10. 33of6-39+12÷6
Solution : According to BODMAS -:
= 33of6-39+12÷6
= 33×6-39+12÷6
= 198-39+12÷6
= 198-39+2
= 198+2-39
= 200-39
= 161
