Under this Scheme, Soldiers will be recruited for 4 years in the Indian Army, Navy and Airforce. The recruitment of soldiers (Jawans) in the Army, Sailors in the Navy and Airmen in the Air Force, those recruitments will now be under this scheme. The soldiers who will be recruited will be named Agniveer. After 4 years, 75 percent of the soldiers will be sent home. The remaining 25 per cent Agniveers will be appointed as permanent jawans. ‘Agniveer Age Limit In Army’
During serving in the army for four years, the youth will be able to become proficient in many skills, the benefit of which will be available to them in other areas after leaving the army. Good pay-package for Agniveers and provision of service fund package, death and disability package has also been kept at the time of exit on completion of 4 years.
During this, certificates related to their skills will also be provided to the youth by the three services, so that they can get easier jobs in the future or if they want to do some work of their own, then they can get bank loans. It is also said that under this scheme about 45000 youths will be recruited in the first year. The special thing is that there will be participation of both men and women. They will be given 6 months military training.
‘Agniveer Age Limit In Army’
To become Agniveer, 10th and 12th pass youth of the country whose age is between 17.5 to 21 years can apply. The Defense Ministry said that under the Agneepath scheme, an all-India merit-based recruitment scheme will be introduced for recruitment in the Army, Air and Navy. The youth who will become Agniveer after 10th, they will get 12th certificate from the army itself.
How Much Will Be The Salary
All the selected youth will be provided salary up to 45000, which will be 30000 by the first year, which will be increased to 40000 by the fourth year. Along with this, risk, ration, uniform and suitable travel exemption will also be provided. Along with this, a service fund of 11.7 lakh will be provided after 4 years and it will be kept tax free.
Some of the advantages that you will get from this scheme are – Non-contributory life insurance cover of 48 lakhs to Agniveers. Additional ex gratia of Rs 44 lakhs in case of death during military service. Disability compensation, under which a lump sum of Rs 44, 25 and 15 lakh will be provided on the basis of 75, 50 and 25 percent disability.
